What is a good way to clean my ZW its been packed away for 40+ yrs.
Its not that dirty just like to shine it up a bit.

Johson pledge works good on plastic. Don
And take a toothpick and white paint and paint in the numbers and lettering. Looks terrific after. I do that with my KWs as well, which have black lettering and numbers on a black background. It's tedious, but well worth it.
My early version{small badge} had a lumpy looking case, so I wet sanded it alittle and tried to polish it...it was ok, but I wound up painting it gloss black and used red and white ink for the lettering and markings.
They don't have to be pretty because everyone really looks at the trains...they just have to work!
Novus plastic polish #2 works well. Or get some Mothers plastic headlight polish.

I have used Butchers wax to shine up a dull case on a ZW. As far as I know, it does not contain any abrasives.
