Hey Tex,

I must have missed the first post.

You didn't have to be nasty.

I've been a member of this forum for more than 11 years. It is getting more and more disrespectful and outlandish the way people address one another. It seems to be some of the newer members over the past four years, that are causing the trouble. Not all, just some.

Do not respond, you will not like the reply.

Mike,

I just don't get the behavior of some posters on this forum, big deal if it was already posted. I have seen so many of those cry babies call someone out because it is already on the forum somewhere. There has even been some that are 10 pages back!

I say they need to get a life!

By the way, did anyone see the article on this big railroad in Germany?

Mike, you owe NO ONE here an apology.  Lots of us are extremely busy getting things done in life, and don't have the time to sit around reading every single post on the forum as soon as they're posted.

In your case, I just happened to see "New Lionel Catalog!!" over on the "Recent Posts" column (nice feature!) and clicked on it.  So that's how I happened to find out about this... not through Facebook, not by visiting Lionel's website, and I hadn't seen the other thread yet here either.

So I thank you for posting this information.  If it bothered some folks, it's their problem -- not yours.

Don't know why everyone gets bent out of shape . Heck I've seen 4 threads on the same page with the title 'What's the best way to clean track"

It's like the guy that passes you on the interstate cuts directly in front of you and dern near takes out your grill so he can be that one car more ahead.
Me first .Sheesh please use the money you were gong to spend on trains and use it to get a life.

David

Hi Mike, we can never hear or read good news to often.

That said, I think "Cbo" and "tex" where being light hearted in their post. I doubt if they meant any real slight to you. I can remember a few of the guys picking apart my spelling back in the early days. So big deal, if it does not kill us it makes us  stronger.

That was you??  LOL   Could you tell I had a northern accent too

cbojanower,

My reply was not aimed at you. I know you were playing around. LOL! And I think we did post at about the same time. I'm actually off today and was looking at Facebook on my phone waiting for my son to get out of school. I saw that they posted when the new catalog was going to be out. So I looked quick if anyone else started a thread and didn't see anything so I posted it. Figured everyone would want to know. We both probably did the same thing at the same time. Very funny. Oh yea, I never go on Facebook at work. LOL!!

Thanks for all the support guy's. I hope I get the same back up if I'm ever in a bar fight. LOL!!

That all being said, I'm hoping for another Northern or Niagara! Already have the CC Niagara. But would like one with Legacy in a different road number.

Again thanks,

Mike R

I knew it was you cause of those Jewsy plates on the back.

I'm used to that kind of driving . Here at Smith Mtn. Lake There are so many Jersey Plates they oughta call this place "Little Long Island"

I think the new "recent posts" section may be contributing to some of the overlapping of subjects

I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first but now I find myself taking a QUICK look to the right---scroll through/maybe comment---and I'm on my way.

The snippy little comments---and you know when you make them---are childish

Just my take
