Wow, this came out absolutely fantastic. It's almost weird knowing the same locomotive was once on my layout. Looks completely different now, obviously lol.

Did Lionel ever come through for you on that pipe piece?

Nick,  My LHS was able to track down that missing pipe.  I think you should give your new Pennsylvania B6 a little makeup!  I was definitely at odds on whether to attempt it on the Allegheny but I am very happy with the results.

Excellent news! I did like the idea of weathering at one time, but after actually seeing a weathered model on my layout it just clashed too much with the rest of the totally clean models and scenery. Plus, I'm a big freak about factory originality so I'll have to keep the B-6 as-is

This little guy is a Lionel Trackmobile in Army scheme.  I plan to repaint it for Lionel Steel...it will either be silver and black or red and black.  Since the Army version is already red, I made some sticker to get an idea of how it will look in red and black.  I like the red and black...I will live with it this way for a while, before I do a repaint.  The wheels were yellow, but I painted them with Testors Chrome Silver.  Handrails would be repainted as well.

Thanks,

Thanks Alan!  It's a neat little switcher...I think I will get a lot of use out of it.

I realized that I spelled steel with three Es, on those stickers....ARGH.  At least they are only temporary.
