(03/25/25) New! Sinclair Station from Menards!

Pretty cool.  I've seen some new Sinclair stations pop up here in South Carolina.  No where near as much character as this one.

If I still had a train layout, I would have this gas station.

Did not notice this before on earlier Menards orders, but when I selected this item, it said it was in a Kentucky store.  Is there a central order point for Menards, or do all stores that have stock ship stuff?

the Menards Texaco was easy to modify.

I needed a smaller version  one-bay

the Texaco signage was laser cut.

What all lights up on this gas station?

Is this a reissue?

I seem to remember buying a Sinclair station from Menards.

Or are there 2 different Sinclair stations?

Mine is packed away at the moment or I would just look at it.

They had a Sinclair background building, but I don't see it on the website any longer so it must have sold out.

There was a gas station like this in Vicksburg, Michigan in the 1950's.

The other Menards Sinclair station that @Garfield was remembering may have been the 275-9044. It had not much depth and was designed to sit at the edge of a layout. Don't see it on their website currently but it comes back in an ebay search for "Menards 275-9044."

Currently Menards has a nice Sunoco station with the same building design as this new Sinclair. I like them both.

Great looking. Does it come with the power supply to light the lighting? And...the 11% rebate is a little, umm, "not quite right" if I read it correctly.  That does not make the price $44.50. It seems it is a store rebate on some other/future purchase one would make...meaning it is $5 off of that. Am I reading this wrong? And, better hurry if you want one - it appears to end today. Nice item.

If you follow the link in the very first post you’ll see that it  “Requires 4.5-volt power source (sold separately, Menards® SKU #279-4061, 4062, 4050)”.
