I received my final purchase of this line of Atlas cars making it a total of 11 cars for me. I am sure I could have bought more but 11 is more than enough. Heck, it weighs so much and now thinking of what power will be able to pull the near 70+ pounds of cars around a layout especially with inclines. No one now makes a CB&Q E unit to head my cars.  So now a wait and see and put them on the shelf to view at my leisure.

You must have missed the Sunset/3rd Rail CB&Q E7A units when they came out. However,,,,,,GOOD NEWS! Sunset/3rd Rail has announced CB&Q E8A units with the black nose stripes, and CB&Q E9A units with the red nose stripes.  Check their website, as they are still taking reservations, I believe.

So now a wait and see and put them on the shelf to view at my leisure.

The CB&Q E8s will have painted aluminum sides and the E9s will have the plated side panels.
