Ive seen similar but this looks better.
I think the other was a magnet on underlying wire/pullys.
That is amazing!
I embedded the video for you.
I posted a link to that, or something similar, out of Australia, a couple of months back and got it pulled and I was chastised for the effort.
That's pretty cool, first time I've seen bikes!
I believe OO is close to HO 1:76 and HO is 1:87 so to be that small and for that kind of action on those bikes and other details thru the video is really amazing.
i'm jealous!!! such creativity and skill. wow
thanks for sharing it

Incredible, I love the dog in the basket, thanks for posting.
Ok, I can only double-down on the comments here and express how great this is. What a fantastic layout, and to incorporate the bike path as well as the hard surfaces with this kind of execution is fabulous.
Very interesting layout. The bicycles were simply amazing. I love the perspective of the having the camera on the inside of the passenger car looking out as if you were actually seated in the train. Very well executed and the layout so cleanly modeled.

The guy in the video says this is the Magnorail system which appears to be out of France. I wonder if I too will get chastised.
Terrific layout. Lots of work involved with that one.
It's a shame that they still drive on the wrong side of the road, but I guess everything gets reversed down there.
Thanks for posting. Never seen anything like that bicycle thing before.
Should have said "over there".... he's from the UK.
Its a crying shame they don't make those bikes in O scale. I'd buy a set for sure if they'd make them in O...
I saw this system operating at a train show here in Australia. As well as the bicycles and vehicles on land, the Australian reseller had built a lake with sailing boats and power boats towing water skiers. Sadly the system does not seem to be made in O scale. However placement at the back of a layout might work with forced perspective. You can find instructional videos on YouTube by searching MAGNORAILOZ. I think the system comes from the Netherlands.

I once read that O-scale is primarily a U.S. thing. Per their website, Magnorail does not even have a U.S. distributor!
I figure their designs might be in an electronic format that can be readily translated to 1:48 scale for 3-D printing. Perhaps some entrepreneur could cut some deal with them and own the U.S. market.
Reproducing bicycles in O scale would be a big challenge. However cars and trucks should be a relatively simple matter of attaching magnets to 1:43 or 1:50 scale vehicles.
Appears to be magnets and wire because there is no slot. The really amazing part is the motion of the legs.
Not only the bikes, but did you notice the operating elevator in the station scenes as well as the animated message sign to the left of the elevator. To me the entire station scene was magnificent.
They are pedaling! That is the truly amazing thing. That and when you realize that when they get off their bikes and stand up, they are 3/4" tall! They remind me of some good friends- an elderly European couple- who bike everywhere.

Challenge Lee Willis to do it. He can do anything.

Thank you for sharing...that was enjoyable to watch.
Well if its HO than that's just about right for children size, on a child size bike.
