3rd Rail will not be at York outside of some posters and flyers.  With the Delta Variant not quite done running its course, the decision was made to postpone a trip to York until April at the earliest.  I'd like to say I could make the April York, but I am scheduled for 2 weeks on the Rocky Mountain Explorer and the Canadian at the end of April with my lovely wife.  Priorities.

There apparently will be a lot of open space in the Orange Hall, in particular, this time around. That will certainly be a sad thing to see after all these years, but it is perfectly understandable in light of real world events that continue to make planning very difficult for a variety of reasons.

And somehow I'll still manage to have a good time.  Go figure.

I believe Hennings Trains will not be at York per their Sunday show posted on youtube. Covid and time conflicts being the reason.

Turns out that Lansdale Days was postponed from the summer to the weekend of the York Meet.  Since Bill is on the town council, he has to be there.  I think the fact that COVID is still a factor is also weighing on their decision.  I was just the last to know.

Lionel will be back!  And we've got plenty of new things to show off and should have a sneak peek at something brand new and exciting too. The team here is excited to get on the road again.  It's been a long time since we've been to a show and we miss the atmosphere.  We've taken the layout out of storage for a tune up and a good dusting, started pulling together product lists and working up posters and product cards, and securing final travel arrangements. For those who can come, we look forward to seeing you.  For those that can't for one reason or another we certainly understand and we'll see you down the line. This one will be a little different to be sure and we've adapted to the times as well, but it's all about what you make of it.  And we intend on making it a York to remember fondly.  See you soon!

I guess we'll be spending a lot of time at Lionel.

Don’t know if this was discussed, but is the MTH parts booth going to be there?  Need some traction tires.

I would be a bit surprised if they're there, they're up to their butts in alligators trying to get the parts site all squared away.  You do realize you can simply go on the MTH order site and order the tires, right?

MTH Parts & Sales Site

Click on the SHOP link and enter DE00000 into the search string.  You'll get a listing of all the traction tires they have.

TW Trainworx I believe will not be there Roger got Covid pneumonia in July and is on the road to recovery keep him and Dorcie in your prayers. But I will be there to help the economy see friends and wear my OGR attire!!!

I'm glad to hear Roger is getting better, I was wondering after hearing he was in the hospital, but nobody seemed to know what his status was.  If you see him, tell him I as asking about him and give him my best wishes and prayers for a speedy and full recovery.

I guess we'll be spending a lot of time at Lionel.

Thanks JOHN.  Yes I do realize that MTH has the parts department going.  But in the past at YORK you could get the traction tires for a buck apiece.
