AFAIK, Henning's will still be at York, I know we've talked about it quite a bit.
I guess I'm always the last to know...
John, will you be there selling your products?
Well, I'll probably toss the product boxes in the car, but I won't have any booth location.
I’m really sorry, but don’t know what a Lansdale Happening is! DUH !!
I don't really either, Harry said that there was a "Lansdale event" that they were participating in on Friday and Saturday.

Nothing on the Lansdale events page yet.
To answer the original question, Nicholas Smith and Charles Ro will not be attending.

Define "major player"? Manufacturer/importers?
I believe Hennings Trains will not be at York per their Sunday show posted on youtube. Covid and time conflicts being the reason.
3rd Rail will not be at York outside of some posters and flyers. With the Delta Variant not quite done running its course, the decision was made to postpone a trip to York until April at the earliest. I'd like to say I could make the April York, but I am scheduled for 2 weeks on the Rocky Mountain Explorer and the Canadian at the end of April with my lovely wife. Priorities.
I’m a colonel not a major but I will be there
I'll be there. Isn't that enough?
There apparently will be a lot of open space in the Orange Hall, in particular, this time around. That will certainly be a sad thing to see after all these years, but it is perfectly understandable in light of real world events that continue to make planning very difficult for a variety of reasons.
Has Steve Ross confirmed he'll be there? I know he was a Maybe

And somehow I'll still manage to have a good time. Go figure.

Colonel Corn reporting for duty.

That's my thinking as well. I'm sure I'll have a good time anyway.
Sad. But the two I want to see Millhouse River, and Ross will be there. Turntable time, so prepare your sales pitches Al and Steve. Sell me on them, I’m coming to buy!

John....would you like to use our booth (FREE!!)? If so, give me a call.
There have already been a couple of similar threads so PLEASE lets try to keep this one positive ... enough of the speculation already! OGR's Allan Miller, Ed Boyle, and David Minarik are planning on being there since we are doing our "Wear Are You" contest.

Tom...this is a topic having to do with the York meet so it needed to be placed in that forum rather than the 3-rail traditional forum. I moved it.
any word about Grzyboski not coming?

Turns out that Lansdale Days was postponed from the summer to the weekend of the York Meet. Since Bill is on the town council, he has to be there. I think the fact that COVID is still a factor is also weighing on their decision. I was just the last to know.
Will Lionel be back?
How about Atlas and MTH?
Lionel will be back! And we've got plenty of new things to show off and should have a sneak peek at something brand new and exciting too. The team here is excited to get on the road again. It's been a long time since we've been to a show and we miss the atmosphere. We've taken the layout out of storage for a tune up and a good dusting, started pulling together product lists and working up posters and product cards, and securing final travel arrangements. For those who can come, we look forward to seeing you. For those that can't for one reason or another we certainly understand and we'll see you down the line. This one will be a little different to be sure and we've adapted to the times as well, but it's all about what you make of it. And we intend on making it a York to remember fondly. See you soon!
Good deal. Look forward to seeing you.
Glad to hear LIONEL is back to YORK!!👍👍
Don’t know if this was discussed, but is the MTH parts booth going to be there? Need some traction tires.
TW Trainworx I believe will not be there Roger got Covid pneumonia in July and is on the road to recovery keep him and Dorcie in your prayers. But I will be there to help the economy see friends and wear my OGR attire!!!
I guess we'll be spending a lot of time at Lionel.

I would be a bit surprised if they're there, they're up to their butts in alligators trying to get the parts site all squared away. You do realize you can simply go on the MTH order site and order the tires, right?
Click on the SHOP link and enter DE00000 into the search string. You'll get a listing of all the traction tires they have.

Can't/won't really speak for them--Mike would whip my butt--but the answer, I believe, is NO

I'm glad to hear Roger is getting better, I was wondering after hearing he was in the hospital, but nobody seemed to know what his status was. If you see him, tell him I as asking about him and give him my best wishes and prayers for a speedy and full recovery.

My understanding is that you are correct, Don. At last report, Roger was doing well, but it is a long road to full recovery.

If we needed any more assurance that COVID isn't a joke, I guess this is a wake-up call! Really glad to hear he's on the mend.

Thanks JOHN. Yes I do realize that MTH has the parts department going. But in the past at YORK you could get the traction tires for a buck apiece.
I'm really looking forward to York and am looking forward to seeing friends. Will be on the lookout for Vision Line Hudson and other stuff.

The price went up, they're now $1.50/ea.

VL Hudson, going for the high priced spread!
I’m pretty sure Mike already said they would not be there selling parts.

Grzyboski Trains is coming, as I previously reported. I spoke to Teresa and Joe a short while back.
Pat
I have the sense if a bunch of the big vendors don't show up, the remaining folks might have a really good York.
