15x5 layout

You could do something like this with 048 radius turns and a mix of 048 and 072 switches:

I'm pretty sure you can say "Christmas" but you can't say "****". The word that begins with an "X" for the abbreviation of Christmas.

Here's a 5x12 I did last year for Christmas.  Has one outer loop, and an inner loop with double reversing.  All 0-36.

Isn't American Flyer s gauge & fastrack o gauge?  Do they make an s gauge fastrack?  Plans will still work with any track.  But there could be a snag.  Are you planning an s gauge layout?

If you are referring to the Lionel 6-30188 Union Pacific Overland Flyer Freight Train set, it comes with 036 curves and should have no problems with that radius turn.

I'd like it more if there were a double crossover in the middle, but it doesn't look like one would fit.

That was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw that plan. Two single crossovers would be pretty easy to do. Like this...

Old thread I just ran across. If you are still looking here is a 5X12 I just did for a carpet layout in fastrack for my grandson and myself. Works out great as the manual switches self change as the Santa Fe 2353 chugs around and the train reverses through all the cycles nicely. Be glad to supply the parts list if you are still looking for this size layout.
