I have two 1615 switchers

First one shorts out I believe because of the spring on the front coupler assembly hits the track.  I am running fast track and Menards tubular.  when I remove the assembler she runs great.

Second one squeaks so I'm guessing something is rubbing,  I have lubed the axles, but the sound seems to be 'inside'

any help and advice is appreciated

Buck

Hi sometimes the coupler assembly gets bent down so the coupler assembly hits the center rail! all you have to do is gently bend the coupler assembly upward enough so when you sit engine on the track there will bee about 1/2 or more clearance ! this issue can cause short circuits which can be damaging to boards or transformers !
