Angela, thank you for your reply. Angela, the only American Flyer painting that I saw on your website was a picture of some Flyer "O" Gauge tinplate. I was more concern about a Flyer picture showing their "S" Gauge Trains. I believe the cover from their 1957 catalog would be great. Thank you.

I believe she made a Painting of the AMERICAN FLYER Circus Set from the early 50s.
Angela, I corresponded with you several years ago, and although I was simply a fan, you were kind and helpful in your response. You mean a lot to the spirit of this hobby, as many or most of us had Lionel as kids or wanted it. To me, the secret of your artistic appeal is not just that you're a wonderfully talented artist, or that the subject matter touches the right chord in 3-rail train guys and gals. I think the spirit of the thing is this: Family. You capture the warmth, love, longing and reward of active, caring families and the relationship between parent and child. Regardless of tastes, longevity, success (or the lack of it) in real life, everyone proceeds from a family unit, and the type you typify are families, Christmases, and toys that brought nirvana to youngsters. Long may you Run!
Hello ANGELA TROTTA THOMAS....
WOW, that is lovely picture !!! I really like that. I wondered if you can do older Williams steamers, diesels as they are very nice postwar Lionel copies. I wondered if you have pictures of girls or women playing with trains ? I know because I was one of them SMILE !!
