Any suggestions on converting 3 rail Atlas Horizon passenger cars to 2 rail? With the arrival of the Viewliners and scale Amfleets I need to get back on some projects.

I couldn't stand the flickering lights. So I converted the cars. I believe mine were already 2 rail cars.

What axles should I use to replace the tinplate wheels? I have some NWSL 36" needle point axles.........would they work or is there something better?
Can you post a pic of the 2 wheelsets with a ruler between them. Er ... no, not a picture of our ruler, Her Majesty, what it's called over there, a measuring stick!
