2015 National Lionel Train Day | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

You heard mention of this on another thread. I just thought I would tell you a little about this exciting event happening Saturday December 5th at participating train stores.

"Help Lionel kick off Christmas and celebrate it's 115 Anniversary with the FIRST annual National Lionel Train Day!" We are asking our partnes across the country to join us as we celebrate the magic of Lionel trains on Saturday, December 5, 2015."

I wont go into details as of yet as Lionel and it's stores are still working out the details. However I can tell you that this will be a must attend event happening all across the country via social media, the web site and at your local store. Special "Day only" product will be produced and lots of cool things are planned!

I will leave the details to Lionel and their Marketing Dept. for now. Watch the Lionel web site as well as ours. We will tell you details on our Facebook page too. Be sure to "like" us so you will get the news as soon as we do!

I look forward to the details, Charlie. We are working on a 115th Anniversary project as well.
