The 2015 National TCA Convention in NY / NJ is open for registration. So many great tours to choose from centered around THE CITY - The Big Apple - The City that Never Sleeps. I strongly suggest get your tours reserved as many are very limited to the number of people that can attend (NJ TRansit Shops Tour comes to mind).

I was active in METCA MANY years ago when three guys (Stu Rankin, Kevin Quinn, and Scot Kienzlen (sp?) had the audacious idea that METCA should host a convention. To all the Gentlemen at METCA who made this a reality - WELL DONE.

I hope to see many friends at the Saturday evening banquet.

I just registered for the convention and the tours at !:45 am on January 1st after returning from Times Square and the ball drop. Cold for sure but worth it. If Taylor Swift and be up on the stage doing 2 numbers wearing just a little top and slacks then the rest of us can manage to be there. I also wanted to say that on Wednesday of the convention I will not be going on any of the tours and since I have lived in the New York City area all of my life I know the area very well so if anyone is planning to attend the convention and also has no plans for that day we could go some real nice places and watch trains including while having lunch at the former train station at Cold Springs, NY. right along side the Hudson Line and the West Shore Railroad right across the Hudson River.

Please let me if interested.
