Duluth, Winnipeg & Pacific ore cars in schemes that match the colors and graphics used on DW&P RS-11 and GP38-2 Locomotives between 1960-2004.

Duluth, Winnipeg & Pacific 40' double-door box cars with the DW&P graphics added.

Grand Trunk Western 40' double-door box cars from the DW&P. They were painted in the reddish brown color in the late 1960's.

Super easy Re-releases of:

MTH 20-90245 & 20-90246 Union Pacific Skeleton Log Car 6-Car Sets:

My LHS has a 3-Truck UP Shay I'm hesitant to buy unless I can get some of these. A Premier UP-Red Bobber style caboose might be nice (fantasy or not) to have along with it.

....Also.....

MTH 20-90202 & 20-90203  Union Pacific 40' AAR Box Car 6-Car Sets:

I can always use more freight cars for my Big Boy and 4-12-2

Andrew

MTH did a couple of those as "UP Heritage" rolling stock (which were actually correct). A little paint and the UP logo is GONE! Sold all of my MTH "UP Heritiage" rolling stock except for those two hoppers and the cabooses.

another great one I want!

If they produce a fraction of these posts, my wallet will be needing severe help!

I think I like just about anything in diesel, just add a bit more detail like lights under the stairs/ground lights, better sound and how about adding a realistic slow crawl feature like Legacy has in their momentum feature. More and More guys I know are enjoying the scale features and details of some engines.

I'd like to see the RailKing ALCo RS3's (now being offered with PS 3.0 and smoke units) upgraded a bit to include more "add-on" details (similar to the RS1)...and offered in the two road names/paint schemes pictured below:

Lehigh Valley in the darker (Tuscan? Not the brighter "Cornell) red with full-length white end striping...

09100000009020

Jersey Central "Toothpaste" scheme, same as MTH offered a few years back in the RSD4 six-axle units...

Good point Kevin! I agree with everything you said, but MTH needs to take a step past the Fast-Track concept and bring us a detailed track system that works. As for the renaming point I really don't think that is necessary. Everyone knows to look at the pin arrangement. What we will need are adapter sections, though I doubt I would have to tell Mike that. What I would add is to lose that blackened center rail, we all know it's there so what's the point? I find that the shinny center rail of Fast Track solved the issue by the reflection effect of the tie through the surface of the rail. If they feel they must blacken the center rail just do the sides and leave the top as a good conductor. Originally Posted by Amfleet25124:

1-As stated elsewhere, Amtrak Viewliners, Amtrak Viewliners, Amtrak Viewliners!

2-A stunning announcement from MTH R&D that they’re coming out with Real Trax II with a totally different track connecting mechanism that they’ve been working on in secret all this time. C’mon Mike, tubular or pins are not a Lionel copyright, so using pins or rods (GarGraves, Bachmann) is not admitting defeat of the messed up connectors.  Maybe even do you own version of Snap Track. Time to cut and run.  Return the track to Solid Rail "T" and redo the roadbed to have permanent pins protruding out where the copper stuff is now on one side, and entry ports on the other side.  Make sure to re-number the tracks with a totally different group so there is no confusion.
