Just make sure that the axle is lubricated where ever it's in contact with the truck frame in addition to the axle ends. But don't over-lubricate.
- maybe where the truck pin/mount is making contact with the body?
Consider it a free sound upgrade.

1) Squeak in curves or straight track? How sharp are your curves?
2) Does each and every car squeak?
3) Squeak always at the same spot/spots?
4) Are you sure it is the truck/wheels that squeak?
5) Could the plastic body that overhangs on curves causing the squeak?

its 2 cars outta 10 it does it on straight and curves at first i thought it was hitting the truck like the brake pad on the truck but i dont think it is and your right its a sound upgrade lololol
yeah its lionel 21 inch also a passanger car from the texas special set
If these are 3 rail cars, check you pickup rollers. A dot of oil might solve your squeak.

Yep, agree 100%. I’ve never had a problem putting a tiny drop of oil on the rollers.
I agree, I put oil on rollers and the squeak was gone.
I have a bunch of the UP 21” cars. Definitely oil everything that you can bust sparingly of course. It still look me a very long break in period before they finally stopped. Or I finally got oil in the right spot 😉
