Wire: TPC TMCC LEGACY

Your 6-14191 cable plugs into the other leg or third leg of the wye cable then to TPC. you can daisy chain the TPC's.

With all the reading I have done studying I have never came across that. It always said that serial comm was for future use or a picture showing it plunged into a computer.

Note that as you increase the number of serial devices driven by the Legacy base, you may run into signal issues.  Lionel is supposed to be introducing a serial signal booster that will allow you to drive more devices soon.

Thought about that too...we have some guys here using three TPCs okay. Is Dale M. Out of  stock on the boosters? Waiting for Lionel might be challenging. But should be ok for two without a booster.

OK, I will watch to get that. Currently 2 TPC is it.

Am I correct is saying in order to connect this third leg of the Wye cable to my computer to communicate to the Legacy base all I have to do is unplug it and plug the cable in that goes to the computer. I do already have the cable with a USB serial adapter to try that.

If you want to use the LSU, just run the serial cable from the computer directly to the Legacy base, when you're done, plug the other one back in.

I don't know if Dale has any boosters left, hopefully the Lionel one will be along soon.
