This is all new remote systems for my new re build layout. I have never used TMCC or Legacy before. I really need to get this right and not destroy new equipment. I have attempted to make a drawing to show the problem.

The issue is I don't know how to get the DAT and COM feeds to the Legacy base so it can communicate to with a TPC. Both TPC are daisy chained and powered by 180W bricks individually, each to a separate oval of track with a common outside rail ground. I am beginning to think I can't use a TMCC base and a Legacy base if I use TPC??? I know I can use a 6-14191 command base cable and go directly to one base from a TPC but not both, or is that wrong to?

Any reply is appreciated.

OK, I will watch to get that. Currently 2 TPC is it.

How ever. When I get smart enough??

Am I correct is saying in order to connect this third leg of the Wye cable to my computer to communicate to the Legacy base all I have to do is unplug it and plug the cable in that goes to the computer. I do already have the cable with a USB serial adapter to try that.

Thanks

Larry
