Not a repro.

This one is on eBay right now for $28.61. IT's a repro, but I doubt that you could do better.

Hi. Is the 226e-68 listed as boiler front complete actually everything with the ring, jewel markers and hinged front? Saw it on dr tinkerer but no pics.
According to the November 1939 prewar parts list I have, part number 226E-68 is listed as "Boilerfront Complete". Note, I've been told by various part dealers that the repro boilerfronts for the 226 are not the best, primarily the hinged door bit. That said, there are few alternatives. The boilerfront for the 225E is the same, so finding an original beater might be.

Interesting. It’s the ring part that is missing the door is ok. I figured if I get a complete I can put my door on. I was wrong on my source parts dealer. Anyone know a dealer with repro parts
