That's awesome Ken! "The Blue Comet" was one of my favorite episodes (for obvious reasons... ). I just started re-re-re-watching The Sopranos again.  Is there any TW/TL exclusive stuff coming to commemorate? I saw the damaged Polar Express car. Very cool, but too rich for my blood... (pun intended...)

Not everyone realizes this but of all the main characters.....save for maybe Tony's two children and his wife and his shrink.....Bobby was the only decent human being.....for the most part.

Almost all the other main characters were highly flawed or major felons....or both.

Even people who aren't model train fans love the Blue Comet Episode.  Was one of the best....which says a lot.

25th Anniversary of The Sopranos

Awesome.

I love that your store has preserved the crime scene for this such long of a time/s.

Rumor has it that Bobby didn't really die in the store that fateful day.  After recovering from his near fatal wounds, the Feds put him in the witness protection program where he turned his life around and went into law enforcement.  His enemies gone, Bobby came back to the New York area 8 years later with a new identity - Anthony - and is currently working in the Manhattan D.A.'s office

Kenny preserved the crime scene and we preserved the layouts that were involved   There were actually three layouts that we acquired from an HBO warehouse   When Bobby B was shot in the Blue Comet episode there were actually two identical layouts just in case the scene had to be redone and the one layout was damaged   The Third layout was the one in Bobbys garage    We had two identical layouts so we decided to get rid of one and traded it to the TMB club in Long Island for a hot dog cart

When the Sopranos convention was held in rutherford a few years ago on the twentieth anniversary we transported the garage layout there and set it up.  Got to meet alot of the cast

These are when we first acquired them and set them up where the Tom Snyder layout currently is

This is the layout after we dismantled it and set it up at the convention  Got a signed choo choo charlie bacala poster

This was the day our benefactors Bernie and MArty were pictured with the sopranos layout for the cover of a local magazine

Fantastic pictures and info.

So we now need a list of trains used and accessories for historical purposes.

Just a thought.

That is harder than you would think   We poured through the scenes and pics that are out there when the convention contacted us   It seems that the layouts were dimantled and reconstructed for many scenes and they were different every time   I know the garage layout was constructed by the Train Station in Mountain lakes New jersey   I have been meaning to see if they had a list of items that were put on the garage layout    Kenny might be able to identify the items on the shooting scene layout but I know both of those layout were different    When we got them they were a mess from transporting and storage and didnt look anything like the ones pictured in  the scenes

This is the layout at Trainland
