I just received this from MTH. It looks like the Lionel version. Thoughts?

We have yet to see a mass produced O gauge model of Timken 1111/NP 2626.
The Lionel locomotive that had 2626 applied to it isn't a model or the Timken locomotive nor does it have a good mechanical reputation.
The MTH locomotive you linked to is their Rail King Santa Fe Northern with NP decoration. While is bears little resemblance to the real NP 2626 it is at least a smooth running and powerful locomotive with all the PS-2 or PS-3 features.
The world is still waiting for a good O scale model of Four Aces. When a manufacturer announces one I sure hope we all reward them with plenty of orders.
It's also a non-scale model of Santa Fe 2900 class Northern with a New York Central tender, decoprated Northern Pacific.
Lionel's NP northern was a non-scale model of a Rock Island Northern decorated Northern Pacific.
