So does anyone here have a layout that is predominantly 3 Rail, but has some 2 Rail trackage? So basically, a hybrid layout that combines the two types of track somehow, for example the 2 Rail tracks go around the 3 rail layout.

Using GarGraves track, I wired 2 loops for 3 rail AND 2 rail using different power sources. I can run 2 rail rolling stock either way....3 rail rolling stock will not work with 2 rail wiring. (not grounded)
My interests are pretty scattered and eclectic, but if it's O scale and runs through Western Pennsylvania.....I'm going for it!
Some folks use 2-rail On30 along with 3-rail. Not what you mean I suppose.
I've seen the mix, here and there. Don't really care for it. The 2-rail track just makes the 3RO center rail stand out, and not in a good way (is there a good way?).
The On30/3RO is less bothersome, but still looks a little odd.
So long as you stay away from switches and crossovers, running 2-rail equipment on properly wired 3-rail track, like GG or Atlas, is a way to run some 2-rail DC (for example) without the visual disconnect.
3 rail outer and 2 rail inner...mostly MU's

I'm going to have a 2R loop, though I have a majority of 3R stuff.
bob2 had a great recommendation a while ago-if the looks of 2R track bother you, add a center rail. It can be done easily with little effort.
