Well it's 2 weeks from York week and it's time to announce the 3rd biannual Thursday AM York Breakfast for those of us who go to the Round-the-Clock Diner.

Let me know who will be there.....I will set it up with the manager this week....

If you are at York by yourself or with a group, and, looking for something to do before the Thursday AM opening, join us. We gather around 8:30-9 and usually depart for the Fairgrounds around 10:30.

As an added twist: bring a picture of what your Avatar would have looked like before the advent of Command Control....that's right, from before 1995.....

Finally, on a sad note, we've received word that EddieG just had a quadruple bypass and won't be with us....Get well Eddie!

Some pics from October....

The breakfast invitation is still open.......York 1st timers......this is a great way to put to faces to names.

For those of you who can't make breakfast....a large group of us congregate inside the lobby of the Orange Hall about 11AM......the north side of the concession stand, until the 12 noon opening.....join us there too......it's all very informal (that's how it began about 10 years ago when the Orange Hall opened).

Well, it was a great breakfast and I really enjoyed myself. I had not met Jeff before, and it was great to meet him. Then I met him at a whole bunch of other places, including the hotel a couple of times. Love having the West Coast guys. But I don't know why they bring us the cold weather, when we typically have such balmy, pleasant weather in the east.

I contributed hats to 2 members of this breakfast crew, and I really hope that we get pictures of them. Come on Peter & Robin, SHOW YOUR HATS!!!

Hopefully I can make it in October. The York experience this April was condensed to a few hours Friday afternoon. I did enjoy the breakfast and the folks I met in October.  It looks like a lively bunch in the above pics.

Don....we look forward to it.....we had a bout 20 people this time.....I suspect in the Fall we'll have 30-40.
