While skinning over the 3rd rail site I now see that the remaining 3 rail N&W Y-6b's (Anniversary Edition, exceptional detail, has rail sounds 5 added to them.  I think this is great news since rail sounds 5 has much more to offer than rail sounds 4.  I have a couple of Lionel locos with rail sounds 5 and think it a vast improvement over 4 (UP H-7 and SP GS-2.

Hope to see rail sounds 5 added to ALL future 3rd rail releases.

What say you?

Since the "demise" of Train America Studios, the ONLY current "TMCC Licensee" is now ERR. The old "licensing agreement" which provided the SAW boards, i.e. Sunset, Atlas, Weaver, is gone. If Sunset/3rd Rail can get RS5 sounds from ERR, I don't understand why Atlas O and Weaver can not obtain the same systems from ERR, since both Atlas and Weaver also now use ERR systems.

Yes daylight, it is a GREAT improvement!

is this the full compliment of the rail sounds 5 package i.e. sequenced train "announcements" or just new steam sounds in gereral
