Yes David, there is rivet detail around the seams.  There are both horizontal and vertical seams.

 

The target price is $25 that includes the tank, with both tops, the LED assembly, 4 logo stickers and instructions.

The short answer is Yes.

 

If all goes well, we will have this kit, The radio tower I have also been working on, the kits we launched last fall, including the Background Apartment Building and the roundhouse.  

 

Plus we should have the General Office, the Flag Company  and the Pickle Factory back in production and available.

 

Maybe one other thing....

How come
SHELL OIL, did nt  make it, both of derricks are shell, tank , miniature barrells,

and my Miller 7 inch sign is Shell,

Rich - They look great and may be suitable for my needs.  What I need is a Santa Fe water tank.  Would it be possible to take two of those and combine them?  Also, is it possible to get the tops without the light?

Yes the kits can be combined to make a taller tank, and you don't need to install the light.

Yikes Rich, where were they a month ago when I spent $90 a piece for the Lionel tanks, busted them loose from their bases, soda blasted the big ugly decals off, tore out the LED, filled all the holes, primed and painted the stupid things? lol Those look great!

 

I'll still need a couple of yours.... how bout some bigger ones in the future too?

Brad, we are having to rebuild the mold for the power plant, I expect before summer - May June this year.  I am looking at adding the option of real smoke units for the stacks.

Rich That would be great and smoke a nice touch . Price estimate please? Also will you have the general light and power office bldg too!?

Brad, The general Office will be available to ship in the next few weeks, we will have it at York, and on our web site about the same time.

 

Still working on pricing for the power company  but about the same as it was as before - basically we have keep the prices as they were before we purchased the company.  About $200 for that kit.

Brad, I think for now they will come in the kit only.

I think I might spring for one or more of those tanks. I'm dabbling in On30 and some of my locos are theoretically oil-fired. Right-sized oil tanks are scarcer than coaling-towers. Also such tanks could fill out an industry not just for broad-gaugers, but narrow-gaugers, too.

 

Thinking about the Conoco tank cars that used to roll on the D&RGW and the C&S, wouldn't Conoco make a good addition to the logos?

How is the storage tank program coming along for , online purchases?

Terry, Thanks for asking. The new tanks and other new kits should be on line with in 10-15 days. This is just after we get done with York.

Is the General Office newly designed?  (new image perhaps)....    I am hoping its ready to order in the coming week....

And a few logo's I'd like to see....Dad worked for them...only job he had after college.

Dave, thanks for the suggestions, nice logos.

 

I can suggest that as people want to customizes the logos of their choice to augment the ones we included int he kit, a goggle image search, a color printer, and a peel and stick labels like you can buy at Staples and other office supply stores make for a great result.

 

Back from York, and just updated the web site and store.

 

All the new items are on there - these tanks - Radio Tower, and a additional last minute add a Tall Background City Building  along with the General Office, Flag Company and Pickle factory.
