If you are in the Denver CO area, the LCCA and the Colorado Toy Train Group, LLC (CTTG) will host their third A Day of Fun with Toy Trains Special Event on Saturday andSunday, January 24th and 25th, 2015.  This year’s event will be at the Pinehurst County Club, 6255 Quincy Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80235.  Attendees will be excited to see toy train layouts operating in G, HO, N, O, S, and Z Gauges.  Children will be able to operate accessories and trains on some of the layouts, and the youngest children can ride in a battery-powered train.  Operating hours are 9 am to 3 pm, on both Saturday and Sunday.

LCCA and CTTG will co-host an exclusive operating session Saturday evening, 5 – 6 pm, which will be followed by a two-meat buffet dinner.  Dinner includes musical entertainment, and everyone takes home an O Gauge freight car.

We are supporting the Wounded Warriors Outdoor Adventures non-profit organization this year.  Attendees will be able to donate to this worthwhile organization throughout the operating sessions.  Donations help wounded warriors’ perception of what they can achieve by re-engaging in or learning new activities they only dreamed possible.  Reconnect family members through shared family experiences.

Oh, I think I understand now, you probably clicked on this topic on the main forum, which is a shortcut to the original post on the LCCA News forum where I am reading the topic.

A suggestion would be for Al  to put LCCA in the topic title for posts that appear in other forums than just the LCCA forum.

Lionel Chief Technical Officer, Jon Zahornacky  made a special appearance at  the Golden Gate Lionel Railroad Club (GGLRRC) Train Show and  LCCA Special Event at the Napredak Hall in San Jose, CA today.  John gave a demonstration about Lionel's Legacy system on the GGLRC's 17 X 34 feet modular layout featuring three loops of O-scale trains.  Thank you Jon,  our LCCA members and guests really enjoyed your demonstration.
