I believe it was posted here much earlier this year, or maybe even late last year. Naturally, what with the world-wide pandemic, the producer has NOT yet released the movie for public viewing at IMAX theaters.
Did you get in a cameo appearance Hotwater?
Thanks for posting Rusty! I missed the earlier posting. That aerial footage is fabulous!
Yeah Jack, are you in that production!?.....at least a cameo??....

No. It was a last minute request from the producer and BNSF management, and there was no way I could have gotten out there in time. That's OK, as the rest of our teem did a fantastic job on short notice and VERY long hours, in order to make the multiple runs between Vancouver, Washington and Wishram, Washington on the BNSF main line (former SP&S).
Those 70mm lenses can only take so much. Can you imagine seeing Hot Water on a giant screen? Don

Don't know what your snide point is, but the production was all about the BNSF and the 4449 running in the Columbia River Gorge! Nothing to do with me, nor any of the crew.
HW, I think he was trying to make a joke that probably failed miserably.
Hot Water, I must tell you, it was a joke. What it tells me you can dish it out but not take. Don

Take WHAT??????
Wow, that is a beautiful trailer for the #4449 IMAX film. Thanks for sharing it !!!

Take a joke, an obvious joke at that! Chill out!!!
Look forward to seeing this when it's released. The footage shown in the trailer is well done and beautiful. I always have a warm fuzzy for 4449 as she was the first full size, operational mainline steam locomotive I experienced - painted red, white and blue at the time. Doesn't hurt that I think she's just stunning to look at either.
Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing it in the theater someday. Love that train, it's only a 2 hour drive from me.

Sheesh, agreed! So fragile!
Makes me wish we had an iMax screen in our state...

I saw Hotwater on a tv show. A rugged, strikingly handsome man with a killer mustache. Didn’t look fragile to me. We should all be so lucky.
Cheers
