HI,  Here's some photos of a car I just completed. Furniture was painted more or less the correct colors, and the added 'rug' is very very close to the original pattern. I constructed and added the deco-ish handrails at great pains to my glued-together fingers. They are pretty much spot on to the prototype, and I also added the illusion of a step down to the lounge area.

Of note is the painting on the wall of the lounge area. It is a miniaturized copy of the original that adorned the prototype. I added all the rear-end tackle to the coupler area. That was a nightmare because it need to be constructed. THe blue light in the drumhead was added,  and is correct.

The GGD model had a a fairly good prototypical layout to the interior. One thing I did was remove the incorrect partitions where the stairs and handrails are and added the correct glass partitions.

Hope you like it.

Very nice   I'm getting a headache from painting a dozen pieces of resin crates, barrels, etc I got at the train show today, I know detailing the inside of a passenger car can be an even bigger task.

I was looking at a color photo of the inside of the Seaboard Sun-Lounge car and noticed the "seashore" motif (starfish, shells, etc) on the carpet.  Who knows where I'll find that little piece of detail

I found something that makes for a nice door knob, HO track spikes.  Use ones that have a nice round head and you're all set!
