I just saw this a few minutes and all I can say is WOW. I know this is a hard set to find but I cant imagine paying the amount of money they are seeking. This is actually going for more than some of the old subway sets like R36 WF. Actually I think something is wrong cause the bidding is crazy high...
Doesn't seem too crazy to me I have seen R32 sets go for as high as 1100 and R36 sets go for 800. Wouldn't be surprised for these to go at about 750 Subway guys are crazy when it comes to this stuff
There's only one bidder. It's still at the opening price with 7+ days to go.
Its the same buyer w all 9 bids, seems a bit fishy to me, stay away.

Well I do think something is fishy. How can you have 9 bids at it's still the same starting price. There was a bid for $10,000 that someone retracted.
I would bet that the top bid is 1000
The more I think of this one the more I think this bidder is very smart His retracted bid makes you think he wanted to bid 1000 His nine bids make you think something is fishy He will win this set for the price its at now probably because nobody else will bid
There's nothing fishy about it. It is as said above, just a bidding tactic to scare off other bidders. It often draws more attention, though.
The reason it's still at the opening bid is that you can't outbid yourself.

C**C bid many time trying to best the canceled $10,000 bid.
So when that bid was canceled he became the top bidder.
All we know is C**C top bid is less than $10,000, but more than $1125.
If you see now it's at $1125. See below. Still think something is not right. I maybe wrong. He may have a max bid price of over $1200. I'm glad I have mines.
it does seem fishy.
..am glad i have my set also,plus the add ons and 1 on the flat car,am just missing the other on the flat car.
Note that S**1 is a newbie, Also note that all of C**C's 9 bids are now exposed (other than his very last one which i bet is still 1125. I wonder if S**1 is one of us? lol.

Would love a set like that, but I would need my head examined if I even thought about paying prices like that. It would be a real bummer if you paid that kind of money and something went wrong with the set. I am taking my chances and waiting to see what MTH comes up with in PS3 in the future. I know don't hold my breath.

This ones used, 7 cars. Let's see what happens. It is a beautiful set though. My favorite IRT set for sure. The best sound file made.
That one is pretty stupid They have TA stickers from the 60's- 70's on a 142A
