After a great few days at Spencer, NC the NS Heritage diesels returned to work.
This photo by Ron Flanary in recent Trains newswire shows 5 Heritage diesels on a coal train.
Five heritage units, Erie No. 1068, Reading No. 1067, Lehigh Valley No. 8104, Conrail No. 8098, and Southern No. 8099 lead a 387 coal train west on the Appalachia District at Gate City in southwest Virginia on July 6.
Who says 'mixing up' roadnames isn't prototypical!
