I have been working to bring back to live a K-line Mikado. I have everything working and rewired; however, the locomotive started to stall in tighter turns. I appears that I have a bad connection in the 6 pin tether plug between the tender and the locomotive. Inspection shows that some of the wires are crimped and the center roller (hot) wire is missing insulation at the plug. Slight adjustment to the wires brings the locomotive back to life.
Does anyone have a specification or part No. for the 6 pin (3 over 3) K-line tether? I don't mind making up my own assembly but am not sure which plug will match the original. Alternatively, If anyone has any spare 6 pin tethers that they would like to sell, please let me know. I need a minimum of 4 positions, 2 motor leads, one common and one center rail.
