Just think Brad, had Pat O'Boyle not had problems with WBM and then became ill and pass he would have made an uber-accurate set of the 1924 ARA box cars including those sweet L&N cars with Murphy ends. They had 2600 of them.

Charles Patrick "Pat" O'Boyle died at his Woodland home on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at age 62.
Mr. O'Boyle was born in Shreveport, La., March 17, 1945 to Charles Martin and Nellie Irene (Sargent) O'Boyle. He had been a Yolo County resident for 10 years. Mr. O'Boyle entered the US Army in 1965, went to Military Police School in Ft. Gordon, Ga., and received a Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal. He was honorably discharged in January 1967. Mr. O'Boyle was president of Pacific Limited, which built model trains and railroads. He also worked in law enforcement for the Oakland Police Department.
Survivors include Mr. O'Boyle's sister, Ja'Nell O'Boyle Scott of Fairfield, nephews, Charles Snyder and spouse Chris of Pittsburgh, Joseph Snyder and spouse Melanie of Antioch and Tom DeCosta and spouse Anita of Fairfield, and niece Shelly Maher of Clear Lake. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mike O'Boyle.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Diabetes Association of Sacramento, Sierra Chapter, 2720 Gateway Oaks Drive, Suite 110, Sacramento 95833.
Services: A graveside service is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 15 at the Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Ave., Dixon with Rev. LeRoy Rittenback officiating. Military honors will be presented. Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
