A/C to DC caboose

I put this smoking caboose on my new loop which is A/C powered and I didn’t realize it was DC until I ran my train conventionally. I hit the reverse button and the power when off. Is there an aftermarket product I can use that will allow me to make this caboose A/C to DC power?

I also heard there’s a way to tweak the smoker to produce just a little more smoke? Any ideas?
