A lovely Lionel caboose | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I purchased this nice Lionel caboose at a recent train show. When i got it home and put it on the layout, it did not light up. Looking inside it appears to be missing a bulb, but I cannot find a bulb that will fit. Can anyone help? I would gladly purchase the said bulb( or LED if that is the case).

With the wire nuts you can install a light bulb socket from junk string of mini Christmas tree lights and use a 12 v mini Christmas tree light bulb.

. . . or, just get an LED with a suitable resistor in-line that will handle 18 volts or so. Less power draw, less heat . . .

Bulb 8352-300. Although a different shape, it is basically what @Choo Choo Charlie said.
