Atlas O Norfolk Southern "patched" N&W caboose at NJ Hirailers.
A few photos of my previous layout the "Crazy J". Named for Theodore Judah ( Crazy Judah), most of the towns and business were named after people connected to the Transcontinental. With some exceptions...
Some of you may vaguely recognize this shot. The theater was named The OWL Drive In (O. Winston Link). The second... the man and boy protecting Gotham.

On the Leonardtown and Savannah, the port of Savannah is the large employer and workers take the commuter rail from surrounding towns and even just from the main city area down to the port. However L&S suburban service is not always frequent enough, especially now with the war on and the huge demand to move people and goods straining every piece of motive power they have, so some of the locals use the street car service to get home at the end of shift. Its not as fast but the street cars run about every 15 minutes so there is little wait. Today we see the tail end of the port's day shift trying to get home for supper.

Mr. Link's photo showed the movie Battle Taxi on screen. Although I am always set in October 1959, Battle Taxi was released in 1955... so this was the second showing at the Owl Drive In that evening...

Today's update on the 7.5 inch DT&I build.
Cab ride out to the newly laid Caer Curve. Why named Caer curve? Look closely to the left as we go around the curve and you will see the Cave of Caerbannog... and the bunny... with big nasty pointy teeth!
Thanks Mark!
Troy, great ride! Thanks for taking us along!

Guys great pictures above, I’ve been doing lots of yard work, painting/staining the deck, wow, it’s real work.... Later today I’ll get to work with the trains after honey do projects. We get some travel Relief May 1 from the coronavirus here in Tennessee. I hope everyone is doing good health wise. Happy Railroading

Fabulous scene Lee! I LOVE it too! To me this photo tells the story of 3 vastly experienced railroaders who are well worn by their numerous decades of service on an old forgotten about branch line. The third railroader, of course, being that old weather beaten steam locomotive.
