I added Bullfrog Snot to one of the drivers for extra pulling power and installed a headlight. I don't run it much but I do like the way it looks and it seems to photograph well.

As I recall that loco has a DC motor and plastic tender shell which makes it very adaptable to TMCC, if you do that sort of thing.
Besides its NKP; you know, that Cleveland Ohio stuff (like Erie also). Used to ride my bike down to the NKP station on East 93rd and watch NKP and Erie both (mid 60's).

As a westsider (Old Brooklyn), mid sixties also, we used to sneak down to the tracks to watch NYC F-Units pulling freights of brand new autos....and to smoke cigarettes Lol!
