If you belong to TCA, and have not read the Jan., 2014 Quarterly that just floated in to me, one of the most

touching, and also somewhat infuriating stories I have read, and I have read some touching tales on this forum, is a story by member Ron Hollander about a **** Gate bridge, and, about the life's story of the lady he met who owned the bridge.  I was touched by her intense interest in developing her "Christmas garden" with ever more trains each year, and infuriated by her husband's lack of interest and abuse.  It appears the garden and the trains was her escape from a very constrained life.  This was, I think, the most interesting issue of the Quarterly I have ever read, with another article in there by by Scott Mann, describing Korean trains made in China (say what?). (I was not aware of just that type of connection)
