Hello everyone ,

We moved in the new home about 19 days ago and I was able to get my shop underway. Now I'm at least able to work on projects. My last shop was in a 9 x 8 space, this current space is 12 x 25 which is fantastic. Plenty of room to get just about anything done. I'll update this thread as I make more progress with the workbenches and test track, I'm going to  scenic the test track area so it's much nicer to look at. There also will be many more shelves and storage areas to hold all my tools

I also just added a video of the future layout area, a few notes about the layout area.

Block walls will be sealed first then painted a blueish color

Floor will be  cleaned and painted a Grayish color

Many track lights and also fluorescent lights will be added

        Room size approx 31 x 15

Layout will be an around the room type with a wide walkway in the middle, Approx layout size        24 x 15.

Thanks for looking, Alex

Nice set up and quick work, Alex. Always nice to have a deep utility sink at the work area. Btw, how's that portable ac unit with the recent heat wave and humidity we've. Bought an 18,000 btu one for the basement since no central air there but returned it since it just didn't do the job despite it was rated for an area larger than the basement room it was in. So bought a window unit, cut an opening in basement's block wall to fit it in. More work than I'd wanted to do but at least it's now pleasantly cool there.

Hi everyone,

I thank you all for the nice comments

Pete, i hope to be making some beautiful models

Johnny, yes i finally have a nice size shop

Chris, that was made like that on purpose. That's for when i get an engine that's giving me migraines i will punch the throttle and sail it off the test track LOL !

Miguel, thanks

Coach Joe, yes it is a lot to do in 19 days, my wife and i haven't stopped for a minute since we moved in, i don't know how I'm standing up. LOL

Kenn, thanks. The AC unit works okay, it keeps the garage at a steady 76 degrees but it can't make it any cooler. I think a through the wall unit would be better.

Marty Thanks my friend, yes we must keep beer for Ben when he comes over, also can't forget to keep cigar's for him too!! LOL. Just let me know when you're going to be in the area so you can come by.

Thanks, Alex

Great video Alex, love the accent. Looks like besides having you do work on my Niagra(when I see you are available), I will probably be asking about upgrading my NYC #3000 Mohawk. The guy that was supposed to be working on it never got back to me at all. I guess they are so far backed up, that they don't want to say anything to me. Oh well. Be bugging you soon, lol. Keep posting updates.
