So I would like to install the AC commander in a Standard Gauge 9e repro. I have added pictures so my question is where do I put the diodes? I am guessing I just remove the small plates on the bolted brush leads to hook everything else up?

Diodes? The only thing you add for the AC Commander install is the 1uf 50V capacitors from each brush to the frame ground.
That is what I meant the capacitors not diodes. Anyways, where would I attach them? Just on the contact plate for each brash to ground then?
They go from the brush to ground. Keep the leads as short as possible and the connection to the brush as close to the actual brush as possible.
