adapter for RG6 coaxial cable?

I have searched on this forum and haven't quite found the answer I am looking for.

I want to extend my Lionel Cab-2 Legacy antenna for better reception for a large layout. I saw on the forum "Mega Racer 5" 127 mm Carbon Fiber Polished Finish Black Short Automotive Antenna with Internal Copper Coil AM FM" recommended for this application. I have RG6 coaxial cable run from the controller base to the antenna location. This antenna has a screw post type connector to replace an existing car antenna. Can anyone recommend an adapter between this type connector and RG6 coaxial cable?
