Can railsounds be added to a dummy “A” unit such as 6-24531 (6-24529), or 6-24532 dummy “B” or 6-24533 powered “B”. By this I mean using the existing Lionel electronics and the addition of a railsounds module. If so can this be done by the average person or would it need to be sent to someone?

It's pretty simple to install if you've had any experience with wiring.

Yes I know, but can it be connected to the existing Lionel boards, and if so how, as the instructions for the railsounds board I believe doesn't show that.
It can be connected to existing boards, but the connection varies depending on the specific setup in the locomotive in question. There's no one "cookbook" way to do them all.
