ALLENTOWN'S SPRING THAW/OGR BREAKFAST

The Groundhog says we're in for an early Spring. No complaints here.

So let's start the roster, however informal, of those OGR Forum guys planning to join us at the Hamilton Family Restaurant (2027 Hamilton St., Allentown, Pa) on Saturday, February 27. Please bring guests if you'd like. We normally start arriving at 6:30 a.m. (some real early risers seem to be there sooner). 

I will again have the coveted early-admission tickets to the Spring Thaw Train Meet, hosted by Allentown Train Meet Associates. The early-admission tix, priced at $8, gain you admittance to the Allentown Fairgrounds at 8 a.m., one hour before the gates open to the masses.

I'll be there Chuck, and I believe I'll be riding up with John Devlin, at least that's the current plan.

Now, now, John... I might not be the first one at the restaurant, but I've made the last two breakfasts.  Not bad for a confirmed night-owl. 

I can't help that the real early-birds are usually done eating by the time I arrive.  This time I'll try not to arrive fashionably late.

Hi Greg: I can see why the moderator(s) might see this thread as an 'announcement'; however, we have always used it more as an inter-play among forum members forum members. It's not simply the announcement of the train meet. I hope in the future the guys see it as we have seen if for over a decade.

Interesting. I checked the email address multiple times and it is showing as sent.  I did see that autocorrect messed with the subject.  The subject is "Ham Famous OGR" lol.

I resent it with a corrected subject of "Ham Fam OGR"

The important two bits are:

1. when do you need a firm headcount.  I'm a "maybe" for two.

2. When do you need firm commitment on tickets? We may or may not make the show.
