Ben, I'll believe it when you show up on it.
Hey guys and ladies I just wanted to mention that if you have a couple of hours to kill after the show you should stop over to the Merchants Square Mall and visit their train display on the second floor. The rain storm with lightnening is pretty spectacular.

Hopefully the link works.
Ben....Where you gong to put all those doughnuts you and Vinny buy at the mart.
And we need to get a picture of Vinny on the back with his arms around your waist holding on.
Cmon John you know we eat most of them before we leave the market Those have to be the best donuts in creation
This is what I am driving
Ben if you're driving this, it's going to be a very tight squeeze for me Vinny and Ed in the side car. LOL LOL LOL
Alex
No Vinny and ed go in their own car Dress warm Alex and remember Pins and Needles Needles and Pins Its a happy man that grins!!
I don't see what everyone is concerned about. When it snows, that's the best time to drive in Pa. It fills in the potholes!

I'd pay money to see you strapped onto that bike out there in an Allentown snowfall, Ben. Money. Real money. Yup.
Uncle Frank
how much are the early admission tickets you'll be selling and will youl have extras or are they already spoken for? Till tomorrow.
Base ticket price is $7. plus $10. handling, and a $25. donation to the CG Retirement fund. Plenty available.
I'm assuming some of the $25/ea ticket price goes to get Ben to ride the bike in?
Everybody's a wise guy!
Hellgate, look forward to seeing you.
Foo-foo, my %$#$%. Health-conscious breffix delight (strawberries are politically correct).
Early admission tix are $7...same as the latecomers. I wave the fees Joe H is always trying weasel for me.
MaryAnn's Donuts at the Farmer's Market are as famous here as Yocco's Hot Dogs, Lee Iacocca, Mack Trucks and Jay and the Techniques!
Pins and Needles.....
Everybody should use good judgement when driving. I am including a 5 p.m. weather.com forcast for Allentown on an hour-by-hour basis. Hope it is as promising as this makes it appear.

It's looking like it's on the hairy edge of rain or freezing rain. Hopefully, it'll be just rain. It would sure annoy me to end up in a guardrail on the PA-TP! It also looks like a better forecast than this morning.
I understand there could be a couple of inches of the "fluffy white stuff" tomorrow morning....
oh wait...I'm confusing the weather forecast with the breakfast order!"
4:30? I'm glad I'm closer, I'm not leaving until 5:30.
Here's hoping all you folks have a great--and safe--time this weekend. Be sure to stop by our booth and say hello to Ed and Don.
The forecast scared us, I won't make it, bummer.

Just got back from Friday night pizza. Bone dry in Allentown. The Chicken Littles in the weather industry blew it again. See you guys in 'da mornin.
Big dry slot over head. No ppt is sight! Come on down to Allentown! The layout is up and operational!

Still nothing on the streets as of 0430 this morning. The temp is 34 degrees so far and will only start getting warmer as the day progresses. There's nothing on the radar yet. The forecast says rain showers starting late this morning. The people who sell bread and milk are happy.
C'mon and see Chucky!
Well, its 5am and I'll be heading out soon. Its just a light rain and 37 here in Media. Thanks for the weather update.
See you all there.
As did I! It was nice talking to everyone and I think we had our largest turnout ever!

A great time was had by all... or at least me.
No sweat at all driving up, the freezing rain they were promising thankfully never arrived, just drizzle.
There certainly were a lot of people at the breakfast, looked like half the forum showed up!
Guys,
Here are the shots from this morning's breakfast and the 11 o'clock group hug. I apologize if I missed taking someone's picture. Feel free to start adding captions...

Chuck, not to make you jealous but I just got back from eating at Emilia's on Arthur Ave. Excellent Breakfast at HamFam, an afternoon nap :-) and great Italian food for dinner (seafood pescatore). If I have the energy to get up and play with my trains it'll be a perfect day.
Thanks for setting up the Hamfam get together every year, always fun!
Did not see Ed or Don in any of the pictures. What did you guys do with them?
Chuck...the word is seasoned...not old! I feel sorry for those nuns.
AGAIN, I missed the group picture. Need to prioritize better. It's a shame too, I really would have added some youth and exceptional looks to the shot.
It was great to see everyone, another great meet and OGR gathering. Thanks to Chuck for organizing the breakfast every year!

I had such a wonderful time at the breakfast and train show. So many laughs and great conversation with awesome friends. So thanks to all for the great time I had.
Alex
Ya know what I see on this thread. A bunch of grownups acting like 10 year old kids.
(I love it, keep it up folks).
Ain't it great!

Yes that, and we still have the ability to order our own breakfast's :-)
What's even more fun is just watching Ben and Vinny trying to control themselves!!! What a great bunch of guys and, like Ben said, like a hockey game, lots of laughs and good times!! Jim
