Add me to the list, I've never been to one of these.  I'd like to get an early admission ticket as well, might as well get a jump on the "bargains".

Is there parking nearby, since I've never been there?

Huge "lot" on site, parking usually no problem.  Look at the map link on Chuck's link.  Most of the white area where the purple marker is is the building and lots of free parking.

Actually, I was thinking of the restaurant, how close is that to the location?  In Feb, I probably don't want to hike any farther than I have to!

Never mind, I just checked the map.  Clearly, it's a drive from the breakfast to the show!

Yep, the HamFam is about 4 blocks from the Ag Hall at the Allentown Fairgrounds complex.

OK guys and gals, let's begin the list of those planning (this is not a commitment) on attending the OGR Forum/Allentown(Pa) Spring Thaw Meet breakfast. Thaw? We can only hope, huh?

When: Saturday, February 23rd (The show runs Feb 23 AND 24)

Time: Beginning about 6:30 a.m. but come when you like.

Where: Hamilton Family Restaurant, 2027 Hamilton St., Allentown, PA

Bonus: We will have some 'early admission' tickets available for sale (Show opens at 9 a.m. to general public, but early admission tix get you in at 8 a.m.) So you can be among the first to see Ed Boyle's smiling face!!

This is not a club or a clique. Each OGR Forum breakfast in Allentown sees some new folks join us.

Wish I could be there. It breakfast) was a blast last February.....and the show was good too! Lots of great stuff for sale and great prices.  Last year there was loads of PostWar that was priced to move. I came away with many good bargains.

I'll assume that Chris (Lehighline) and his modular group will be there. It's a nice layout and worth going just to see it.

Sorry to see that you will not make it this time. Thanks for the kind words. You may indeed presume away. We (The Lehigh Valley High Railers) will be there with a 25x60' layout. We always try to have at least one new item or area.

We're trying to change our flight schedule to leave in March for Australia.  American airlines is not making it easy though.

The real reason for the change is that my wife wants to see whales off the west coast, some where near Broome, and the best time is late March.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Ha, ha---will you get a chance to see Dave while you're there?

My wife and I went whale watching several years ago off the coast of New England and had a blast!
