As most of you know by now, due to Bob Thatcher's illness, Jeff Dobslaw is taking over AM hobbies. Jeff and Shawn Thatcher and Atlas and I worked a lot on trying to achieve a smooth transition with things.
What was not mentioned is that we (Public Delivery Track) we be purchasing the AM hobbies inventory, and will continue to be stocking a lot of older stuff, as well as "the latest and greatest" from Atlas, MTH, Weaver, GGD, 3rd rail, Woodland scenics, and NJ international. We expect that we will be getting some amount of previous custom run stuff, and we will be acquiring the following Atlas custom run items....Trainman 50' flat cars with pipe load...CNJ and PRR. Trainman 50' Modern Box cars...New Hope and Ivyland, and Middletown and New Jersey. If you had any of these cars pre-ordered with AM hobbies, please let us know. As of now, I do not know if MTH and Weaver pre-orders are being picked up JD's trains or not. You can call Jeff at 314-4090-4451 and see what the status is. As for Public Delivery Track...we will be handling a full line of MTH 2 rail items, including pre-orders, so if your pre-order for MTH is not being handled by JD's trains, you can pre-order MTH 2 rail, or 3 rail scale items to convert, from us.
Personally, Bob Thatcher have been friends since we met back in the mid 1990's, and I certainly wish him and his family all the best.
