A fellow antique dealer has a 3815 with the bottom plate missing from the motor, and the wheels and gears have zinc rot. Does anyone have a mechanism and is looking for a nice shell, email me.
I'll ask him on Sunday and let you know. It is fairly complete, but with the wheel problem and the fiber plate on the bottom of the loco, it needs a lot of work or a mechanism swap to work. Will try to get a photo or two also. Nice shelf piece, tho.
