Many of you know that I run 30 car Tropicana trains at our modular set up (and shorter ones at home).

Max (my train buddy) said: "you need to have something new and different follow the Juice Train....

Here's the complete train shown previously.....

I always like seeing your juice trains!  I only saw them on the  RF&P when I worked for Virginia Power back in the '80s and '90s.  Never saw them on PC.  At that time the cars were all orange.  I don't remember seeing the white cars.

Now as to Max's suggestion; he suggested something different.  However it wasn't clear if he chose what to use for the difference or you did!

Looks great Peter! I love the juice train.

Like Mark I remember the 80's /90's RF&P led Orange train cars but the 70's train had white cars and the current train has white cars again. In the 70's Lionel MPC made some pretty inaccurate wood sided white Tropicana Reefers. image

Lionel also offered the 4 consecutive numbered orange cars in the 90's. weaver offered more accurate cars in several of the paint schemes as well.

Here are a few more images of Juice train cars. The orange car is now in a Florida train muesum.imageimageimage

Here are a few images of thier plant switchers. An NW2 and a 70 Tonner. If Bachmann ever makes a 70  Tonner I know how I would like mine painted.

Funny I was in VA watching for the Juice train on the RF&P in the 80's and early 90's. A different but similar Blue and grey engine. Maybe I saw some of those same trains.

Did you ever catch the PEPCO Fireless steamer in Alexandria. That was still occasionally used into the 80's. I saw it once from the GW parkway.

Sorry not trying to hijack the thread.
