I have been working on my animation for my class, Just finished a test of the locomotive's drive rod and wheels moving. It does need some work but is working much better than yesterday. Thought of the style of drive rods to the simple Marx style much easier to work with. I will post a better animation with the locomoitve in a bit.
The first video is the drive rods in reverse and the second one is the drive rods moving forward.

The wheels were reversed just fixed them I'll repost the video in a bit

Haha yeah I'm glad I saw that the wheels were reversed, before I got much more of the animation done. 
Have you reposted the 1st one? if so, the wheels are still moving in the incorrect direction. Also, if the grey dots are intended to represent the connection between the rods and the wheels, they should stay "static" to the wheel rotation. Currently the float on and off the wheel.
