The Lionel Legacy Users Group is not affiliated with Lionel Trains in any way other than sharing the enjoyment and trading of information related to operating the Lionel Legacy System.

Breakfast will be served from a selected menu of choices at a nominal fee.  Gratuity and cost of breakfast is the responsibility of each individual. While we don't require you to sign up, please give us a heads up that you are coming if possible.  The room is limited but so far we've only had standing room once.

Please feel free to start placing Legacy related questions, suggestions, and thoughts in this thread.  We will pass them on to Jon Z and Lionel to get the answers.  Please make sure that they are clear and to the point so that Jon and his team can give us the best possible answer.  While I understand some of the questions we get can be answered by the group of folks that post here, I owe it to the people who participate to pass all questions to Jon and Lionel for them to reply and ask that we refrain from commenting and answer questions posted here for Lionel.

All questions will be due in on Monday April 13th to allow Jon and the Lionel team time to answer them.  Please try to get them in before then.

Please refer all product questions outside of Legacy to the Lionel folks at the booth.

We are anticipating having a couple of new items to show.  I will also be bringing the LCS demo board, new 3.1 Version LCS iPad App with layout sharing, iCab, and LSU for those who wish to see them.  While possibly not specifically addressed during the meeting, they will be available afterwards to check out.

As always we will end at 8:45AM sharp for those wanting to get to the York meet.  I will be available afterwards if folks want to discuss or check anything out. We can also show how to make the upgrade modules using LSU.  Version 1.53 will be on hand. Will Allen will help. Bring 2 writable modules.

We once again anticipate video taping the meeting.

Thanks to Paula and Alexander's for our meeting place.

The Legacy Users Group would especially like to thank Jon Zahornacky, Mike Reagan, Rudy Trubitt, Phil Hull and the entire Lionel team for their continued support.

A special thank you to the Legacy users for sharing your experiences.  We all learn a great deal from each other and that is what its all about.

Your Legacy Users Group Hosts are Will Allen, Chris Bojanower, and Marty Eibeck.

Also again just a friendly reminder, please make sure they are clear and to the point.  I try to send them "as is" so I don't miss anything.  The clearer they are the more correct answer will be received back.

I added this to the top post but wanted to call attention.

Legacy 1.53 is available.  Will Allen will be happy to show and help you make 1.53 system modules.  If you would like to take advantage of this please bring along 2 writable black modules or the GRJ modified modules.  Will can walk you through the process on how to create the modules.

I'll see what I can do.  I'll see if I can get a uncouple track.  Unfortunately the demo board is a little compact so I'll see what accessory we can do.  Do you have something specific in mind for an accessory?

Hi Marty,

Thanks for putting this event  onn, I wish I could attend.

Question:  When in Train Link Mode and viewing/operating the linked cars in the train, can the software be modified so that the velocity knob, horn/whistle slider and the train brake operate the engine in that train?  Does that make sense?

I'll have to check the answers from last year but I thought they would look into that. Being said its on the list to see if there is an update.

I wanted to see how 2-4 uncoupling tracks would get wired to a single ASC2.

I'll probably have to put this in a document of some sort.  Right now I only have 1 ASC2 and it's currently wired to a switch.  Let me do some work and see what we come up with.  One way or another we'll get you an answer.
