Another Menards building -- Engine shed?

Pretty much a "must have" for my layout.  I'll definitely need to order one when they become available. I'll replace the Milwaukee Road logo with one of my own making, but that should be easy enough.

Very nice building.  The description says the sign is lighted...

 

A 2-3/8" x 1-3/4" lighted "The Milwaukee Road" sign that features several different patterns of lighting effects that you control with a switch

That is great!  $59.99 with a lighted Milwaukee Road sign, two outdoor lights and 6 LED lights in the ceiling inside.  I will work that into my industrial area as a place for my Milw switcher to domicile.

I saw that somewhere and thought it was a great building.  Great design that can be used many ways and can fit many time frames.  I can use it!

I'll add that these seem like a pretty good value for the money.

Not sure where I'll put it, but I ordered one. I really like there buildings.

Would y'all recommend preordering this building through the website, as it isn't due until December?

Although the Menards website says they are not due until December.  The ad in the other magazine reports they are coming early November.

I was in Menards this morning, they had 3 different buildings but not the loco shed. They had the barn, tavern, and gas station. Also had 4 different Lionel O gauge sets but not a Menards exclusive set.

The same with my Menards and they had a lot of trees and other accessories.

The shed is supposedly not going to be available until mid-December (and I wouldn't even hold them to that, given the way things ship these days).

I like the pluming supply also, I think I will get both, need to change the sign though, that may be a problem.

Nawlins, I have purchased 4 buildings from Menards and all have been preordered with zero issues. The buildings are well packed and arrived safely.

The plumbing supply building is very nice.

Just was wondering has anybody received this yet???  How do they like it???  Should I wait till the rumored road names come available?  Has anybody modified this and changed the road name?  I really would like this but am afraid I don't have the real estate.  Thanks everyone!

The loco shed has been out for a few weeks now. Sold out very quickly at my local Menards along with the other Menards buildings. I really like the Milwaukee shed, it will be home for my MTH Milwaukee steamer. Seems like it was a total sell out we will see another one next year.

How about some photos of it on a layout.

I ordered mine on-line Dec 2nd and kept getting updates pushing the delivery out to Dec 30.  Went to my local Mernards (Evendale, OH) to pickup the other items I had ordered and noticed the shed was now in stock at the store and on sale for 49.95 instead of the 59.95 price.  Grabbed it and cancelled my on-line order. Also all of the Woodland Scenes trees were marked down also, looks like they were cleaning house for the Holiday rush.

I was planning on ordering it online.  It's not a gift so I can be patient with it.  Seems like everything you would want in a loco shed???  I may just place an order and see what happens.

Two in my local Menards the first day I read this thread.  A day later gone!

Mine came three days ago. I have not hooked it up yet, but it looks very nice. Can't beat the price.
