Raymond Loewy is considered the father of Art Deco styled automobiles, buses, locos (GG1, S-1), coke bottles, corporation logos,  etc.

Do any of you OGR forumites collect Loewy designed railroad Locos or cars?  How about posting some photos.

I have models of several of Lowey’s beautiful designs. First, he redesigned the GG1 to it’s famous smooth sided  look (and I believe he started the 5-stripe design)…

Lowey also did a number of other engines for the PRR, one of which was the behemoth S1…

Finally, Lowey did the Fleet of Modernism livery…
